 The Machinist is reporting that Search Wikia, Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales’ new open-source search engine is not living up to the hype. Wales is the first to admit that there are problems, his goal is an ambitious one: Jimmy Wales wants people out on the Internet to help build something as complex and useful as Google, like Wikipedia except users will be editing search algorithms instead of content.
